The Fortitude Pack Frame is designed to work with all versions of the US military’s legacy ALICE pack – including ALICE belts and shoulder straps – and is a fully cross-compatible with the current USMC-issue FILBE pack and components.

Our design allows the Fortitude frame to be used with a wide array of packs on the market, including standard issue military packs as well as many recreational commercial packs. Any pack that accepts a legacy style ALICE frame will accept the Fortitude Pack Frame.

The Fortitude can also be used as a standalone frame with no pack at all. Using your preferred shoulder straps and waist belt, the Fortitude can be used as a packboard to haul odd-sized duffle bags, waterproof bags, water containers, fuel cans, buckets, chainsaws, tools, fresh big game quarters, or pretty much anything you can think of.

The Best ALICE Frame Alternative With Proven Performance

Military veterans and active duty will immediately recognize ALICE and its more common replacements today, MOLLE, FILBE and ILBE equipment.

The All-Purpose, Lightweight, Individual, Carrying, Equipment (A.L.I.C.E) pack frame was a field pack frame and rucksack design originally launched in the Vietnam War era. Originally made with tubular aluminum, the frame includes a kidney pad with an adjustable 2" waist strap and QR buckle, a belly strap, and LC-2 shoulder straps.
